In addition to the MVUSD e-book Library Powered by SORA here are some additional resources parents may want to use to access e-books.

Local Public Libraries

Murrieta Public Library- Our local library has additional resources for students.  Apply online for your Murrieta Public Library card.

Riverside County Library System- Nearby public libraries.  You can use your Murrieta Public Library card at any of the Riverside County branches or to access their online resources.

San Bernardino Public Library- Riverside county residents are eligible to apply for a San Bernardino County Library card online.  You can access their e-book collection and online resources.

 

Online Story Resources

Storyline Online- A collection of favorite children's books read aloud by members of the Screen Actor's Guild

Storytime from Space -Videos of astronauts on the space station reading stories and conducting science experiments for the children of Earth.

Junior Library Guild- Free access to Junior Library Guild's eBooks.-- no username or password required. Unlimited access and unlimited number of users.  Titles may change periodically.  To see age appropriate titles choose from the following when on their website:

• High School Stream

Audible- Selected audio stories offered by Audible. No username or password required

ABDO Digital- (through 5/31/20) Username: spring  Password: 2020

Vooks- An online library of streaming video books.  Parents may sign up for 1 month free access.

EPIC Books- An online digital library.  Parents may sign up for 1 month free access.

Lightbox and AV2 from Follett- Free access to non-fiction ebooks in English (Lightbox) and in 8 different languages (AV2)

Save with Stories- Actors in partnership with Save the Children and sponsored by Scholastic are reading favorite children's books.  You can view these stories on Instagram #savewithstories
