About Us

We are the 1st high school in Murrieta! We are also known for 23 Southwestern Athletic League championships, CADA Outstanding Leadership Program and National Student Gold Council of Excellence all four years, over 60 students have received athletic scholarships to college, State Champion Robotics and Virtual Enterprise, 2023/24 Most Spirited Student Section in CA and Western U.S.

We offer 17 Advance Placement (AP) Courses.

We are the only MVUSD International Baccalaureate (IB) school. We offer 20 IB courses.

Electives & Programs

MVHS is the home to the United States Marine Corps JROTC. We have a variety of visual and performing art electives and programs such as; robotics, AVID, mock trial, PLUS, link crew, Virtual Enterprise, TV digital production, Unified Sports, Unified Leadership.

We have over 60 clubs and 12 performance and competition groups! Whether you like computer coding, e-sports, dancing, gardening, chess, Dungeons & Dragons, dirty wheels or wet bottoms, there is a club for everyone at MVHS! We even have honorary scholastic and service club, NHS & CSF.

Community Service

MVHS students are required to complete 40 total hours of community service with a non-profit organization.
